What is something that you did that shows that you deserve to win over the other two finalists.
The first thing that comes to mind is that I gave every single Challenge my absolute best effort. In round eleven, where we had to post as many times as we could for two hours, I think I was the only player to compete. I didn't necessarily feel that I
had to win Immunity, but I was still going to give it my best effort. Along those same lines, I think my relationships with the other players helped me win some of the Challenges. For instance, when I won the "points" challenge, it had nothing to do with me directly, it was the relationships I had with the others. Another example would be the "colors" competition. I was the only player to figure out what colors everyone else had...and again, it was because of my relationships.
Another one of my strong points was my social game. I tried to get to know everyone, regardless of alliances I had made, etc. The person on the jury I feel I had the least interaction with would probably have to be Erinn. The main reason for this is I don't think I ever saw her on AIM, but also, I knew that she was playing both sides of the alliances that had been established. As far as how my social game makes me more deserving than the other two; I'd say is because I think Jenna and Amber had put complete faith into the voting block we had established, while I was trying to keep my options open by at least staying in contact with players like Charlie, Ryan, and Jaime. As far as I know, the other two girls didn't talk much to them, but I could be wrong.
Finally, I think I had a definite edge over the other two girls strategically. Jenna and Tom had become pretty clear adversaries right at the merge, so it was really up to all of us in the middle (primarily the original Tomonakians) to decide who would take control. If I had chosen Tom's side, I honestly believe it would be him, James, and I sitting in the final three. Basically, Jenna had put all of her eggs in one basket, while I tried to keep my options open for as long as I possibly could without having to blatantly lie to anyone.
One final note, I don't think I've told anyone yet, but I had the fourth and final Hidden Immunity Idol of the game (the first three idols were in the original tribes' welcome thread, and the final one was in the Emankora welcome message). I was able to play it up until the final five, but I never ended up needing it. That was tucked away in my pocket as a "worst case scenario", so even if somebody had been able to turn the game against me, I'd have a cushion to stay afloat.
Compare each juror to somebody from the show
(A classic question)
Funny enough, I actually did compare some of the players to Survivors in a confessional already, and I used people from All Stars, so I'll go ahead and do the same thing here:
Jaime: I'd have to say
Jenna L. from All-Stars. She is a sweet person, and always stayed very close to her ally, Rupert (we'll say that's me). Obviously, I voted her out, so it didn't quite turn out like on the show. But as far as looking at how she played, I'd say Jenna for sure.
Erinn: This is a tough one, but I'm going to say
Alicia. She was technically a part of the dominating alliance, but I don't think she realized how low she was on the totem pole. It doesn't really fit with how she was actually playing both sides the whole time, but yeah, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!
Ryan: Ryan was
Shii-Ann! It sounds like a stretch, but let me explain. He was the last of original Kalin, but since he wasn't really seen as a threat, he slipped through the cracks for quite some time (like Shii-Ann had done with her original tribe).
Tom: Tom would have to be
Lex. He had a connection with Jenna from "the other side", but the game was ultimately turned against him and he lost the numbers game. He was very strategical in his thinking, and wasn't afraid to shake things up if he had to.
Christa: I'm going to say that you were
Big Tom. You were a part of the majority but things just didn't quite work out. Also, I'd say you were sandwiched quite nicely between Rupert and Boston Rob (me being Rupert and Jenna being Boston Rob).
Brooke: Wow, this is a tough one. I'm really going to have to go out on a limb here and say she was like
Jerri. Not because of her relationships to the others, but because I'd say she can get a little rowdy, she maybe put too much faith in certain people, and was a casualty of a vital numbers game at the time.
Charlie: I'll say Charlie was like
Ethan. He really did try hard in the challenges, but it seemed like the cards were always stacked against him. He always maintained his integrity, but deals had been made around him, and unfortunately he wasn't able to remain in a majority voting block.
How did each juror help you to get where you are now.
Jaime: More than anyone else, I always knew I could rely on Jaime. She never once questioned my decision on who we should vote for, so I knew that regardless of what else happened, she would have my back.
Erinn: Honestly, Erinn helped me simply by being Erinn. Her choices (like voting for Christa) made it easy for me to build a wedge between her and the rest of the original Puragos.
Ryan: Ryan helped me by staying quiet! I don't think he talked to very many people, so that really made it easy to keep things under control.
Tom: The biggest help Tom was to me was by him standing up against Jenna! By him helping to create an obvious division of loyalties in the game, it allowed me to choose which side would ultimately take control. If he hadn't stepped up, then things could have really turned into chaos.
Christa: You helped me by way of Jenna. One of the factors in me deciding to join with Jenna instead of Tom was because of you convincing me that we could trust her. Your bond with Jenna made me confident that we really could create a majority voting block together.
Brooke: Brooke helped me by causing so much drama! The things she would say in the public forums really put the spotlight on her, which meant people weren't looking at Jaime or I. By the end, I think she had turned pretty much everyone against her.
Charlie: I kind of feel bad about how Charlie helped me (me essentially using him). He always turned to me for information as far as what was going on, and I used that to my advantage. I knew he wouldn't make a move against me, but he was not in my long term plans so I cut him loose.
