Camp Life
There's very little for me to talk about these days; it seems as each round goes by, people talk less and less. I actually thought it would be the opposite, and that the players would be running around doing whatever they could to secure their safety. Maybe people aren't as dedicated to the game as I originally thought, but I sure hope that isn't the case.
I suppose it is possible that people have been talking to each other, and have just been avoiding me. I haven't personally witnessed a blindside yet, but when people get quiet, it makes me think that something is up. We are at a tipping point of the game, and it will ultimately be up to Amber how the rest of this season plays out.
When Christa was eliminated, it finally gave me the proof I needed to show that Erinn has indeed been playing both sides. What worries me now, is that she may also pull Amber over this round, putting Jaime, Jenna, and I in the minority.
I'm not sure why Amber would do such a thing, and I haven't had the chance to talk with her lately, to get a better idea about where her head is at. Jenna insists that Amber would not betray her, but she has misjudged other people in the past; so she may not see exactly what's going on.
I talked with Ryan for a little bit, and strangely, he decided to feed me a string of lies, and I'm not entirely sure why. Here was a bit of our chat:
I think I may have caught Ryan in a lie within the same conversation, HaHa. The first thing he said that I highlighted in red was that it was easy to vote for Christa, but then a few minutes later he said that he voted for Tom, and not Christa. Now, looking at the numbers, I know for a fact that he did vote for Brooke and Christa, so I really don't know why he felt the need to lie, but maybe I just flustered him by asking such direct questions. (I will feel pretty silly after this is all over with if I come to find out he did indeed vote for Tom, and it was Amber who flipped to vote for Christa, but that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.)
I also think he was lying about only talking to Erinn and I. He had to have been talking back and forth with Tom, mainly because I know Tom was really pushing hard for his support. That was another silly lie; maybe Ryan was just trying to send me a subtle message that I wasn't going to get any real information out of him.
Challenge
The number ONE thing that concerns me about this round, is the fact that I was the only one who competed in the Immunity Challenge. I did notice that Amber had made a few posts, but apparently she intentionally did it wrong so she wouldn't have a chance at actually winning.
People's lack of participation could be from a number of things:
My gut instinct tells me that it's mainly because people have either given up, or they feel that they didn't need to win it. Hopefully it's my paranoia getting to me, but if Tom, Ryan, and Erinn feel safe...that leads me to believe they feel confident they have Amber on their side.
So I obviously won, and I admit it was a little embarrassing, because I really did give this thing my all, doing the best I possibly could to win. I chose Jenna as the other player to get immunity, because she was getting nervous that Tom was influencing me. Making her safe was an easy way to prove my loyalty once again.
Tribal Council
This will go one of two ways. Either Amber will vote with Tom's group and eliminate Jaime, or Amber will vote with Jenna and I and eliminate Tom. Since I haven't heard much from most of the players this round, I can honestly say that I don't feel really confident one way or the other.
I had considered giving Jaime my idol, but if Amber really is betraying our alliance, then saving Jaime for one round really won't make much of a difference, because they would just eliminate one of us next round. I have to believe that this vote is as straight forward as everyone claims it to be.
General Thoughts
I think Tom may have a leprechaun and a rabbit's foot tucked away somewhere. He has dodged more eliminations than anyone else in the game, and that really impresses me. It seems that every time his fate is sealed, some twist of fate saves him. Aras and Eliza quitting...Christa self-voting...it's all been pretty crazy, that's for sure.

People's lack of participation could be from a number of things:
- People don't care / have given up.
- People didn't want to win and have to announce someone else to get Immunity.
- Nobody had the time to do it.
- Everyone feels safe.
