Camp Life
Wow, I can't believe we haven't had a tribal mix-up yet! Majuro is eliminating it's ninth player, and we're still with our original groups. It's been nice playing with the same people for so long, and luckily, we all get along in Tomonaka, so there hasn't been any drama.
Nothing interesting has really happened around camp lately; Kelly is still sick, Charlie and Brooke still aren't saying much, and Christa and Jaime are awesome as always.
The only news I have is from the other tribes, funny enough. In the last round, Tom contacted me by way of private message. We ended up exchanging AIM screen names, and recently had a pretty nice chat. He gave me a lot of information very quickly, so I am skeptical of how true it all is, but it's still worth thinking about.
Here's a little of our chat (I've edited out all of the nonsense):
Sorry, I know that was a lot to read through, but there's quite a bit of information in there (like I said, nothing is verified, so it may be lies, but still):
Challenge
The only reason I really wanted to win this challenge is because with an inevitable mix-up or merge on the horizon, numbers are extremely important, and this challenge could actually give us a numbers advantage over both of the other tribes.
Everyone in Tomonaka did well with the posting, except for Kelly (who is apparently still very sick). She actually told me to just vote her out, since she hasn't been able to contribute. I then informed her that there was no way we were going to lose the challenge, and that I would not even think about voting her out if we did end up in a Tribal Council. I am not going to let her give up that easy!
I am surprised that we ended up having the least amount of balls thrown our way, but since two tribes were going to win immunity this time, it didn't really matter. I did know that we were going to beat Purago, though, because before the challenge officially began, I wrote down how many posts each tribe had, so I could see how many balls were being thrown. It was pretty easy to stay ahead, knowing what we were up against.
Tribal Council
Well, I managed to guess who Kalin was eliminating last round, but I was way off base with Purago. I still don't have a clue what's going on over there, other than the information Tom shared with me in our chat. I'm going to assume either Erinn or Courtney are on the chopping block; I'll just have to wait and see I reckon.
General Thoughts
I have been pretty strong in the challenges so far, if I do say so myself. However, I know that once we get to a merge, that becomes a liability more than a virtue. Early in the game it has helped solidify my position, but once people start targeting threats, I'm going to have to rely on my social abilities.
Hopefully, the relationships I have established already will help carry me further into the game, but I'm definitely going to need to spread my wings a bit more to guarantee my safety.

Tom (7:20:57 PM): tired of losing haha
Ozzy (7:21:10 PM): i seriously doubt those purago girls are that mean to where they'd target you guys
Ozzy (7:21:26 PM): i think they want my tribe out as bad as we want them out
Tom (7:21:28 PM): two of them prolly hate me tho
Tom (7:21:28 PM): :X
Ozzy (7:21:37 PM): aww i doubt that

Tom (7:22:12 PM): i don't, really. i mean jenna talked to me first, then all of a sudden she ims me on aim, then all of a sudden i'm in this chat with the supposed alliance

Ozzy (7:25:42 PM): so miss jenna is trying to stir the pot eh?
Tom (7:26:07 PM): jenna and parv are working together i know that much. and they both seem relatively comfortable about their safety in the tribe so we have to assume they have numbers
Tom (7:19:02 PM): Brooke, yah

Sorry, I know that was a lot to read through, but there's quite a bit of information in there (like I said, nothing is verified, so it may be lies, but still):
- Brooke is talking to people on the other tribes
- There is a solid voting block of three people in Kalin
- Purago girls were in an alliance with Rob
- Jenna and Parvati are in an alliance
- Tom is sharing strategic information with me, probably to gain my trust
