Camp Life
Still no alliances for Ozzy! I'm nervous about approaching anyone about forming one, because I'm not sure how they'd respond; I guess I'm still trying to stick with my tribe as a whole, not necessarily just one or two people in it. I know it's risky not having a solid ally, but I really don't mind, since all my girls seem to like me just fine the way I am. ;D
Speaking of girls, I figured out why Kelly has been M.I.A. Apprently, she has been really sick, so hasn't been able to participate in the game. I'm not really sure why she couldn't even log into the game for 30 seconds or so to tell us what was going on, but I'm not in her shoes, so I really have no right to judge her.
Jaime and Christa are amazing. I really, really hope when we end up having a tribal mix-up I can stick with one or both of these fine ladies. They are really easy to talk to, we work well together in the challenges, and I just genuinely like having them around.
Brooke and Charlie, on the other hand, are both quite hard to talk to, so it automatically puts them at the bottom of my "totem pole" within the tribe. They've both done rather well for us in the challenges, but if I can't communicate with them, it makes everything difficult.
So far, both of the people we've eliminated from our tribe went without an ounce of fight. It's almost as though they wanted to be gone. I'm not sure why someone would join a game if they didn't intend to play it. I suppose real life could have gotten in the way, heck I don't know.
Challenge
Jaime and I ROCKED THE HOUSE in this Challenge. I think her motivation was wanting to make up for her lack of participation in the previous few days. My motivation, however, was nothing more than getting that darn Purago back into a Tribal Council! I don't like them having more players than us, so I was going to do whatever it took to level the playing field once again.
A couple other tribe mates did show up while Jaime and I were running through the names in the posting challenge, but we were working so well together I didn't want to let it go. Hopefully it didn't rub anyone in Tomonaka the wrong way, we were only focused on winning!
It's a shame that Kalin hasn't tasted victory yet, but maybe once we have a mix-up, their dedicated players will be able to settle into a stronger group.
Tribal Council
Obviously, my tribe isn't visiting Tribal Council this round, but the other tribes are certainly going to have a tough time coming to a decision. I thought for sure that Rob was going to be safe in their last T.C., but obviously I was mistaken since he got the boot. I think it's safe to say that Kalin's eliminations have changed from challenge performance to more of a social and alliance driven voting strategy. I'm still going to say that James and Ethan are probably the ones on the chopping block.
I am just as clueless about Purago's vote. I sure hope that Eliza and Parvati will be safe, since they are amazing competitors, but who knows what's going on in the tribe of amazon women!? I'd guess that maybe Courtney or Amber were in jeopardy, but I'm basically drawing names out of a hat.
General Thoughts
Tom over on Kalin sent me a private message! All it said was "What's up, Mr. Active?", but I took the time to send him a decent reply. I don't have any contacts on that tribe, and if there really is a mix-up coming soon, I need as many options as possible.
